Study on Fracture Characteristic of Carbonate Reservoirs and Numerical Simulation in Oseil Field

The describing the fracture of carbonate reservoirs and technical research of numerical reservoir simulation has been the focus studied in carbonate reservoirs and foreordained affinity both at home and abroad all the time, restricts one of the key problems of the development in carbonate reservoirs too. This text directs against the characteristic of carbonate reservoirs in Oseil field, goes on systematic research of the characteristic of fracture distribution and development of carbonate reservoirs in Oseil field by utilizing geologic modeling and fractured modeling software, experiment of physical analogy, methods of petroleum reservoirs engineering and numerical simulation. The new research results we get are as following:1. We used Petrel and FracMan build geological model and fracture model of carbonate reservoirs in Oseil field, and applyed ant-tracking thchnology to offerd geologic basement to disposition of new wells, with spatial distribution of fracture density.2. Utilizing experiment of physical analogy, we designed experimental model of level physics, 2D visual model of level and 3D model according with characteristic of carbonate reservoirs. On this basis, we studied on the influence of development affect by carrying on fracture and horizontal well with different allocation and different length of level sections.3. Developing petroleum reservoir method, we developed drive energy of reservoirs, law of decline of production and regular pattern of containing water of wells in Oseil field. Then using Newman arithmetic method establish the formula about potential distribution of horizontal well of bottom water reservoir, and analyse the avoiding water height by actual means of production in Oseil field.4. Using Eclipse proceed history matching to Oseil field and research on level section of horizontal drainhole and included angle of fracture. Optimizing optimal new well location throug consdering geological structure, single well controlled reserves, interference of wells.
