This paper selects four paper ,,,and and four magazines such as had many transition novels, I will discussed about those abroad translation novels' figure and the relation between periodical and translation novels from 1840 to 1911.The Chapter 1 is describing Translation novels' gestation and development. There were four kinds of translation novels published on etc.in 1872 . With the development of periodical industry, etc. published some translation novel types such as detective novels, political novels and so on.The Chapter 2 is describing the total boom of translation novels from 1902 to 1911. The publishment of translation novels on periodical arose some adjustments, but which led to a big discussion on novels theory.The Chapter 3 is researching on translators of these novels, and talking over the novel conception, translation theory and technique. This part plots out and compares the four mainly translators' types, those education backgrounds, translating actions and each character, contribution.The Chapter 4 is talking about the sources of periodical translation novels, especially four subject types. In addition, the characters of ex-form are also pointed out, for instance, the style of short story, the tongue of Classical Chinese, the writing in the first person, the publishing pattern and so on.The Chapter 5 is investigating the translation novels communication and acceptation. The large quantity of advertisement of translation novels which had rich commercial characteristic influenced the latter's communication, and the publishers, the dealers and the translators were attaching importance to novels sale tactics.The conclusion is inducing the Chinese native novels creation was being influenced by translation novels and it's significant to modern literature.
