The Neozoic is the group of younger writers who glowed up in the ninetieth of the twentieth century and maintained active in the literary world. They are given much attention for the individual standpoint and the clinging artistic search. By now, there were a lot of productions about the Neozoic, except for weaknesses. For example, few of the researches existed, which possessed wide eyeshot and deep search. So, the little of attempt on it will be made in this thesis.There are four main points exist in their novels, which is time, space, desire and decadence. The former two predicates the novels will extend at deep history and wide world, and the latter two predicates idea and phenomena about inspirit. There is two kind of tendency in their novels, which is structure and de- structure impenetrate through the four points.The introduction draws the outline of research on the Neozoic, which refers to four issues: the condition about their glowing, the issue for naming, the key word about the group and the proper blank.The first chapter entitled by condition and decadence. The decadence in the novels is researched from the two parts: the one is the cause of formation; the other is various forms, which are provided with the especial meaning, namely, the structure in de-structure.The second chapter entitled by desire and rhetoric. The desire in the novels is researched from the two lays: the symbol of body and the correlative ethic; the two kinds of tendency about the feminine writing, which is incarceration and opening.The third chapter entitled by memory and modify. The historical dimensionality in the novels is researched from the four parts: the outline of historical writing, the various strategies about correcting history, which includes memories of the individual, the familial, and the archetypal.The fourth chapter entitled by country and city. The two meaningful spaces in the novels are researched from the two parts: the image about country and its meanings in centenary; the consciousness about city from intension and phenomena.The epilogue refers the quality of The Neozoic. It's a part of the time which run short of the classical, whose shortage and apocalypse indicate that the writing of the Neozoic is unfinished.
