The thesis includes three sections about the research of monk-poet Daoqian in Beisong dynasty:1、life and deed;2、acquaintance;3、poem、article and calligraphy.The 1~(st)section concretely studies Daoqian's full name、the years of birth and death、the place of origin、appearance、temperament、master and disciple、curriculum.Some contents have been primarily touched upon.For example,the relationship of between Daoqian and masterly monk is friends and mater-disciple,Daoqian's disciples are outstangding on poem and calligraphy who are appreciated by Sushi.Daoqian has a wide circle of acquaintance with scholars and Buddhists such as Wang anshi、Sushi、Qinguan、imperial family and so on.The thesis has a most detailed textual research on the contacts between Daoqian and Sushi,Qinguan.The thesis puts forward a new standpoint that Daoqian and Sushi have their new acquaintance in Hangzhou in Xining period,not in Xuzhou.Daoqian'feature on poem is fresh、quiet、delicate etc,without a little scent of "vegetables and bamboo shoot".The thesis analyses poem style's expression and cause of forming,divides into four kings "qing" from all of Daoqian's poems.Daoqian has five articles.The thesis has a textual research on Daoqian's calligraphy and analysis on attainments.
