The Research on Word Meaning of Oracle Bone InscriptionsThe present dissertation catalogues and studies the word meaning of oracle bone inscriptions in an all round way and systematically from the aspect in historical lexicology, and it take the study results in the past as a basis, which sum up the word explanation in oracle bone inscription.In cataloguing work: First, in studying character catalogue of oracle bone inscriptions, according to the present general table of character form in oracle bone inscriptions, we put all word catalogue into order once again, and count the number of explained words and unexplained words, and about 3654 single character catalogues are determined. Second, in studying word catalogue. According to the corresponding relation between characters and words, ab,out 3596 word catalogues of oracle bone inscriptions are determined, which is divided into proper name and common word, and respect listed with all word catalogue of people name, area name, nation name and statistics of these. Third, in studying common word meaning of oracle bone inscriptions. The main content in my dissertation is to put the common word meaning into order, from different aspects. One hand, according to lexical meaning and lexical property, classifying the category of meanings. We fully reveal the disrupting of meaning in oracle bone inscriptions and appearance of entity. On the other hand, we also analyze and depict common word with single meaning, more than meaning, original meaning and extending meaning.In studying work: Main task in my article is to put the word meaning in oracle bone inscriptions into order, however, the studying is also important content in it. While classifying the catalogue of characters and words, we prove and verify part of common words and common characters over ally and thoroughly, and make a lot of new results from them. Meanwhile, we propose the view of mine about some of character and word of disputed and difficulty. Therefore, we newly reorganize and explain some of characters in oracle bone inscriptions in my dissertation.
